EARTH AND WATER.

In 2022, our supplier collaborated with an external partner to conduct a comprehensive assessment of their carbon emissions throughout their supply chain.

The approach was grounded in established standards such as the GHG Protocol accounting standard and the Bilan Carbone® method. They meticulously calculated carbon emissions at every stage, spanning from the production of raw and recycled materials to product manufacturing, decoration by their Official Dealers, product use, and end-of-life disposal.

While real data was accessible for most stages, such as manufacturing, for others like cotton farming and end-consumer use and disposal, they relied on standard data from reputable sources like the Agency for Ecological Transition (ADEME) and other organizations.

The total CO2 emissions for 2021 totalled 90,300 tons, with less than 1% classified as scope 1 and 2 emissions, while the remaining 99% were categorized as scope 3 emissions. Building upon these insights, we are committed to formulating a detailed action plan aimed at both reducing and offsetting our carbon emissions.

Recognizing the finite nature of our planet's natural resources, we are steadfast in our commitment to preserving them. We shoulder the responsibility of safeguarding the soil, water, air, and biodiversity. Our overarching strategy revolves around three key pillars:

-        Preserve soil, water, air, and biodiversity through responsible material sourcing, manufacturing, distribution, and decoration.

-        Champion global carbon neutrality by spearheading CO2 reduction initiatives across our value chain and actively participating in compensation efforts.

-        Minimize product and packaging waste at both production and consumption stages, advancing towards circular business models that promote sustainability and resource efficiency.

We can achieve this by selecting our partners and suppliers by those who show commitment to a similar cause. Additionally, we use garment decorators located within Australia to reduce the emission footprint of having our product delivered to us.
